“Las Turbas” on the Way to Calvary, Cuenca

“Las Turbas” is the popular name of the most emblematic procession  of the Holy Week of Cuenca, “The Road to Calvary”. On it the mob vilifies the image of Jesus Christ throught the beating of the drums and the bugle call on the way to the crucifixion.

It is held early morning on Good Friday (10 April 2020).
