The Muixeranga of Algemesí, a rich heritage of almost 300 years of history. It has been declared Intangible Word Heritage.
Algemesí is the only town of the Valencia region where ancient religious dances are still preserved. They are performed together with human towers during the procession of the virgin of Health on the 7th and 8th of September.
