The pilgrimage of ‘Santa Marta de Ribarteme‘ or “Near Death Experiences festival”, as it is more known abroad, it is a celebration held on July 29th in San Xosé de Ribarteme, in Pontevedra. The participants gather for a mass in celebration of Santa Marta de Ribarteme, Patron Saint of resurrection, before the beginning of an unusual procession.
