Procession of Smoke

In honour of its patron saint, San Andrés, Arnedillo celebrates the last Sunday of November the Procession of Smoke. It has been held  since 1888, when he defeated the epidemic of plague that was hitting the village at the time.
By burning wet Brojo and rosemary, the saint image runs through the village shrouded in smoke.

Arnedillo is widely known for its thermal pools and the dinosaur footprints around.
