This medieval city celebrates its Festival of History recalling its Sephardic heritage. Going back to the Middle Ages, all the residents and most visitors dress up in period costumes. During the festival, which is held on the last Saturday of August, the ancient currency, the Maravedí is used again. It is also possible to witness a Jewish Wedding.
